Two Early Carols is an arrangement of two Renaissance carols. "So Blest A Sight", a lovely though rarely heard lullaby, is English and dates from the early 16th century. The energetic, more familiar "Ding Dong Merrily On High", is of French origin, also from the 16th century. This arrangement joins these two carols together into one continuous piece, creating a traditional "andante and allegro" format. Scored for picc., 4 C flutes, alto & bass.
