The Lament of Aeneas was commissioned by Brian Bensing and is included on his CD New Music for Flute and Piano available through Eroica Classical Recordings. A lament in the truest sense of the word, the piece is in an expressive contemporary style that explores several of the contrasting emotions associated with the grieving process.
